Attention SF based Food Explorers!
In honor of Pi Day (Yes, Pi, as in the mathematical constant that is approximately equal to 3.14159) we are throwing a party! We’re celebrating Pi Day this Friday, 3/14, with a pop-up at Dear Mom (2700 16th St.) featuring 14 of America’s most amazing pies flown into SF direct from their hometowns! In addition to Pi Day it’s Einstein’s birthday (ya can’t make this stuff up!), so we’ve partnered up with our friends at Experiment.com for some surprise Einstein inspired fun!
Some of the royal pie-ness includes Momofuku Milk Bar’s “Crack Pie” from New York City, Twedes Cafe’s “Twin Peaks Cherry Pie,” a Washington state fave made famous by David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks” TV series & the 4-time National Pie Champ, Mike’s Killer Key Lime Pie!
To celebrate the day’s mathematical roots all slices will be sold for $3.14, and will come with one drink ticket redeemable for a complementary craft beer paired specifically to the chosen slice (limited to one drink per person, though multiple pie slices may be purchased). The pop-up begins at 3:14 pm and ends whenever supply runs out!!
