Sometimes, a food stops being just a food. It becomes a viral sensation. And when it does, it becomes a part of the zeitgeist, ricocheting around social media until just about everyone’s seen it – and everyone wants to try it.

When the internet goes crazy for a food – whether it’s a dessert, hot new pastry, or supersized version of a classic – it becomes a hot commodity that folks don’t hesitate to line up around the block for if it means that they can get a good shot for Instagram or TikTok. But some viral foods don’t require making a pilgrimage; in fact, they don’t even require leaving your house! These foods broke the internet, and they’re all shipping to your door on Goldbelly!

Life Raft Treats Not Fried Chicken Ice Cream

Life Raft Treats’ “Not Fried Chicken” Ice Cream Bucket

It may look like a bucket of fried chicken, but it’s definitely not! From James Beard Award-nominated chef Cynthia Wong’s Charleston sensation Life Raft Treats, Not Fried Chicken” Ice Cream looks just like a fried chicken drumstick, but it’s actually an intricate ice cream creation, complete with waffle ice cream, a chocolate-covered cookie “bone” and a coating of white chocolate and crushed corn flakes! It’s crispy, crunchy, creamy, salty, sweet, and as fun to eat as it is insanely delicious.

Brooklyn Blackout Company’s Brooklyn Blackout Cake

From 1806 to 1966, the Brooklyn Navy Yard was one of the country’s most important military installations, and during World War II New York City announced mandatory neighborhood-wide blackouts to protect it. In honor of the monumental war effort, a beloved Brooklyn-based bakery chain named Ebinger’s created a dark, rich chocolate cake they called the Brooklyn Blackout Cake. The cake exploded in popularity, but sadly Ebinger’s went out of business in the 1970s and the original recipe was lost to history. But Brooklyn’s most iconic cake is back! This is the classic Brooklyn Blackout Cake: a super-chocolatey, delicate cake with rich buttercream icing, with plenty of Brooklyn history.

It’s tucked into a fresh-baked seven-pound bun, and topped with five pounds (32 slices!) of American cheese and over a pound each of lettuce, tomato, and onion.
